Following Activision Blizzard’s Diablo Berserk tease, it set dates for the Diablo IV and Diablo Immortal events. It starts in the mobile game first on May 1-30, 2025, with the Diablo Immortal: Struggler’s Path event. Meanwhile, the anime-inspired event it will last throughout Season 8 in the main game starting on May 6, 2025. 

In both cases, there will be themed opponents and challenges, as well as some equipment tied to the anime. The Diablo Immortal: Struggler’s Path event includes a Survivor’s Bane event that has you dealing with the Eclipse and fighting demons. Zodd will appear as Nosferatu Zodd, and earning the Crimson Behelit Gem lets you face a harder version of the fight. There will also be a campaign with free equipment and cosmetics and items to earn like The Broken Band’s Armament and weapon skins.

As for Diablo IV, the Berserk crossover event will involve both trading Behelits for cosmetics and visiting the in-game shop to buy equipment inspired by the characters and game. Once May 6, 2025 rolls around, you can get Behelits from elite enemies. Get enough and you can trade them at the Berserk Reliquary for items inspired by the series. The store will also sell items based on characters. The Berserker Armor for Barbarians in the event is inspired by Guts. The Rogue’s Hawk of Light equipment is based on Griffith. Meanwhile, it looks like The Struggler Rogue armor is based on Chasca. As for the Necromancer’s Skull Knight, that look is based on… The Skull Knight. You can also get the Chimimoryo in a Pet Bundle called The Schnoz with Chimimoryo’s Resemblance and the Mask Rakshas Mount Trophy, and Griffith’s Warhorse of the Hawk mount and mount and mount armor will be sold.

Finally, there will be a a Streamer initiative on Twitch tied to this crossover. There’s no exact date for it yet, but it will involve a chance to earn a Skull Behelit Mount Trophy in Diablo IV.

Activision and Blizzard announced that the Kentaro Miura manga and anime Berserk will come to Diablo IV in a new crossover. A teaser trailer showed up on the social media that showed a character with Guts’ equipment. However, there’s no launch date or details yet about what this event will entail.

Here’s the reveal video. Things begin with an Eclipse starting, a reference to a major event in Berserk. As it does, we see a character facing hordes of enemies. However, he’s wearing Guts’ trademark Berserker armor and wielding the Dragon Slayer sword to defeat them. It only confirms references to Guts, however. So it is unknown if we will also see nods to folks like Griffith, Casca, and Puck. 

While this Berserk event will be the first anime and manga crossover for Diablo IV, we’ve seen series come to other Blizzard games. Overwatch hosted a number of them. One involved My Hero Academia. One Punch Man showed up in that game too. A more recent one brought Cowboy Bebop cosmetics to the game.

Diablo IV is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the Berserk crossover event is on the way. The Berserk anime is found on Crunchyroll, and Dark Horse handled the manga.

Uniqlo announced collaborations with three horror (or horror-adjacent dark fantasy) manga titles: Uzumaki, Berserk, and Parasyte. Manga curation UT graphic T-shirts bearing designs from these three series are now available in Japan, and will appear in other regions, such as the United States, in early March 2025.

You can choose from a total of six different designs, with two from each series. Each T-shirt costs 1990 JPY in Japan ($13). Meanwhile, the North American version of the site lists them for $24.90. Like other Uniqlo UT T-shirts, they’re available from XS to 4XL, and they’re unisex so you can wear them regardless of your physique.

Berserk is a highly influential manga that began serialization in 1989. Since then, it’s become one of the best-selling manga series of all time, with many praising its worldbuilding and writing. Parasyte ran from 1989 to 1994, with multiple adaptations of the story. It follows Shinichi Izumi, a high schooler who enters in an odd symbiotic partnership with a parasite Migi. The two of them have to work together to fight other parasites. Finally, Uzumaki, which ran from 1998 to 1999, is one of the most popular and famous works from Junji Ito, with a recent anime adaptation. It follows the citizens of Kurouzu-cho, who have to deal with a supernatural spiral curse.

The Uniqlo UT manga curation T-shirts are available in Japan, and they’ll come out in North America in early March 2025.

Black Desert Online will host another Berserk collaboration, as the event is set to run from September 5 to September 19, 2024. For a limited time, players will be able to challenge Nosferatu Zodd and interact with the mysterious Skull Knight to receive unique collaboration items. Additionally, cosmetic sets for Guts, Griffith, and Schierke are available to purchase during the event period.

The Berserk collaboration cosmetic sets for Griffith and Shierke will 2,640 Pearls, the in-game currency for Black Desert Online, whereas the cosmetic set for Guts will cost 3,720 Pearls. Additionally, players can purchase a Berserk Pack for 4,752 Pearls, which will allow them to select a total of two collaboration outfits.

Other items for purchase during the event period include a Puck Appearance Change Coupon for 1,800 Pearls and a Behelit Jukebox for 1,200 Pearls.

Participating in the event will net you the following rewards:

• Behelit Alchemy Stone
• Everything is Within the Flows of Causality - Title
• 60 Advice of the Valks

Zodd can be encountered periodically through the day, with the rewards he drops being random. Unlike Zodd, the Skull Knight is not available to fight, and is simply an NPC you will meet during the event.

Black Desert Online is available for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The Berserk collaboration will run from September 5 to September 19, 2024.

Good Smile Company opened pre-orders for its Nendoroid of Griffith from Kentaro Miura's Berserk. The new chibi action figure will be formally available worldwide in 2025. People in the US and Canada head to the company's US web store, where the figure is priced at $43.99. Those living elsewhere worldwide can instead place an order on the Japanese international web store at ￥7,500.

As with most other Nendoroids, this chibi action figure of Griffith will stand at around 10cm (3.94in) tall. The set will have two facial expression parts, although the second one will only feature a slight variation in the direction of Griffith's eyes. It will also come with Griffith's saber, which the owner can also unsheath from its scabbard.

Griffith's Nendoroid will help complement Guts, whose figure was revealed and produced earlier. Good Smile Company held the pre-order session for Guts' Nendoroid in May 2023. It later released the series protagonist's chibi action figure in December 2023.

The pre-order window for the Berserk Griffith Nendoroid will close on September 11, 2024. Good Smile Company will ship the finished figures from Japan in March 2025 and North America in Q3 2025.

During the It’s a Very Big Discotek New Year's live stream, Discotek announced plenty of Blu-Ray releases of retro anime, including one of the classic 1997 Berserk series. The full list of announcements can be read via the company’s Twitter .

The 1997 Berserk Blu-Ray will feature HD scans and some improved subtitles. Though there have been newer releases of Berserk since then, none have been as beloved as the original series. It’ll be in Japanese and English, with the English using the original NYAV Post dub. The Blu-Ray will also come with extras from past releases and outtakes. The whole series will come in two discs, which have the silhouettes of Guts and Griffith, respectively, on them.

Good Smile Company revealed a new Nendoroid figure based on main character Guts from Berserk. The new Nendoroid figure includes several face plates and additional parts to customize Guts’ pose. The figure costs 7,500 JPY/$53.99. It’s expected release date is December 2023, and the figure is now available for pre-order from the Japanese Good Smile Company online store, and the North American one.

The new Guts figure depicts the character wearing his iconic Berserk armor. The figure comes with three different pace plates. These are a serious face, a combat fase, and a “Berserk” fase of Guts smiling. Additional parts include Guts’ Dragon Slayer sword, and his cannon arm, alongside a required stand.

The new Berserk figure was announced last year at WonHobby G 2022 Autumn, and it is the first Good Smile Company Nendoroid figure of Guts to be produced.

Lineage W, NCSoft's massively multiplayer RPG, is getting a special guest: The Black Swordsman. Guts, the protagonist of legendary manga Berserk s Lineage W for the game's second collaboration with the manga. The event is live and will run until January 25, 2023. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

The second Lineage W Berserk crossover event is open to players level 30 and above. Players will need to play the event-specific Party Dungeons during the event, and defeat Nosferatu Zodd. Winning will award players currency they can exchange for five Morph Skins.

These cards are items that can transform a player's character into one from the Berserk manga. The skins for this event include Guts, dressed in his Berserker armor, Nosferatu Zodd, the Wandering Princess Farnese, and the thousand-year-old Skeleton Knight. An additional skin can transform a player's Doll into the dog-like Beast of Darkness.

Besides the skin cards, other goodies and items are available to trade for event currency, like recipe fragments to assemble unique weapons, Dragon's Pearls, and Honor Coin Chests.

Two skins from the previous Lineage W Berserk crossover will also be made available for separate purchase, for those who missed the first event. The first skin is of Guts in his original outfit, and the second is of Puck, a Pisky elf and one of the Black Swordsman's first companions.

Lineage W is available on PCs and mobile devices.

At WonHobby G 2022 Autumn, Good Smile Company announced work on a new Berserk figure, which will be a Guts Nendoroid. There are no concrete details about it yet. It is so early in development that only a placeholder image appeared as part of the reveal.

While this will be Good Smile Company’s first Nendoroid of Guts, it made plenty of Berserk figures in the past. For example, there are Band of the Hawk and Berserker Armor figmas. There are scale figures too. In addition to Guts, other characters from the series appeared as merchandise too. There are figures of Femto and Skull Knight as well.

As a reminder, major Berserk news is on the way. The official website is counting down to a reveal. On December 10, 2022 at 9:30am CT/12:30am ET/6:30pm CET, some kind of announcement tied to the series will appear. The Berserk: The Golden Age Memorial Edition anime also began airing in October 2022.

There is no release date yet for the new Berserk Guts Nendoroid. People can stream the anime via Crunchyroll. Dark Horse Manga handles the manga.

During Aniplex’s Online Fest which took place on September 23, 2022, Aniplex ed a new trailer for Berserk: The Golden Age Memorial Edition. As the title implies, this is a remade version of Berserk: The Golden Age, which originally had film adaptations. Kendo Kobayashi, who voices Bazuso, confirmed in a presentation at Online Fest that this version will add new scenes that were absent from the films.

The original The Golden Age movies aired around ten years ago, from 2012 to 2013. The “Memorial” part of the anime is not just to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the movies. It is also to honor the late Kentaro Miura, who is the creator of the Berserk manga. He ed away in 2021 from an acute aortic dissection.

Hiroaki Iwanaga, Takahiro Sakurai, Toa Yukinari, and Yuki Kaji will all reprise their roles as Guts, Griffith, Casca, and Judeau, respectively. The ending song will be “Wish” by Mika Nakashima. Nakashima has previously performed theme songs for Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and Darling in the FranXX.

The Golden Age covers the titular Golden Age arc from the Berserk manga. It focuses on lone mercenary Guts and his time in the Band of the Hawk. Griffith is the charismatic leader, and he becomes Guts's friend. Guts works with them and starts to fall in love with fellow commander Casca. However, Griffith’s ambitions end up causing serious problems for them all.

Berserk: The Golden Age Memorial Edition will start airing on October 1, 2022 in Japan, and it will also be available on Crunchyroll.

Netflix and Nippon TV have entered into a partnership, and as a result, the streaming service will be adding 13 new anime titles to its lineup. While most titles will be added at a later, unspecified date (or dates), 3 of them will be coming very soon. The first 38 episodes of Hunter x Hunter, all 26 episodes of Ouran High School Host Club, and all 26 episodes of Claymore will begin streaming on September 1, 2022. [Thanks, ANN!]

Hunter x Hunter will be available to stream in 104 countries upon the addition of its first 38 episodes. The remaining 110 episodes will be added sometime in the future. Additionally, Ouran High School Host Club will be available in 190 countries, Claymore in 136 countries, and the 3 Death Note titles in 14 countries. Information on the number of countries the other 7 titles will be available to stream in was not given, though some have appeared in Netflix's anime rotation previously in certain regions.

Among the titles being added, only Hunter x Hunter, Berserk, and Hajime no Ippo still have their original manga series ongoing. Notably, Hunter x Hunter will be releasing new chapters after a more than 3-and-a-half-year hiatus, and Berserk is continuing following creator Kentaro Miura's death. Hajime no Ippo, on the other hand, has been releasing new chapters in Weekly Shonen Magazine with relative consistency since 1989.

Netflix will begin adding its 13 new anime titles on September 1, 2022, with Hunter x Hunter, Ouran High School Host Club, and Claymore. The other 10 titles will be added later, though it is not known precisely when.

The Berserk manga series will continue even after the death of its original creator, Kentaro Miura. The Young Animal magazine editing department published a statement that confirmed the manga's continuation on publisher company Hakusensha's website. The Japanese page also includes translations into English, Korean, and Chinese.

Kouji Mori, a fellow Young Animal manga artist and close friend of Kentaro Miura's, was told about the overall storyline of Berserk through its conclusion. The two talked about the series in detail when Miura requested Mori's help to create the iconic Eclipse scene in the early 1990s. At some point after Miura's death, the late manga artist's apprentices ed Mori and Hakusensha about continuing the story.

Kentaro Miura's apprentices will continue the Berserk manga as a collective group named Studio Gaga. Kouji Mori will supervise the group based on recollections of his conversations with Miura. Mori also declared that he will only write complete episodes and lines that he had heard directly from Miura.

Kentaro Miura started publishing his Berserk manga in Hakusensha's Monthly Animal House magazine in 1989. Its first standalone tankobon volume came out in 1990. By the time Kentaro Miura died in May 2021, the series had 363 chapters and 40 tankobon volumes published. Chapter 364, which Miura had written and illustrated prior to his death, was published posthumously in September 2021. The series' 41st tankobon volume was published in December of the same year.

Japanese game companies have also made several video games based on the franchise. The latest entry is Berserk and the Band of the Hawk, a hack-and-slash action game available on the PS4, PS3, PS Vita, and PC.

The 365th chapter of Berserk will appear in the 13th issue of Young Animal 2022. The new manga magazine will go on sale in Japan on June 24, 2022. The group will produce five more chapters afterward to conclude the current Fantasia Arc/Elf Island Chapter.

SuperGroupies revealed "Part 2" of its Berserk model merchandise collection. These SuperGroupies items continue to focus on the characters Guts and Griffith. This time, the Berserk merchandise includes a Guts backpack, a Griffith messenger bag, and two pairs of boots styled after Guts and Griffith, respectively. The new items are available to pre-order through April 17, 2022.

The Berserk Guts backpack uses brown synthetic leather to evoke the style of shoulder strap Guts wears. The backpack includes lots of little references to the character and the series, such as a metal plate that contains the quote, “If you see God, you tell him this… Leave me the hell alone!!!” Side pockets are embossed and studded to replicate Guts' shoulder pads, and an original lining design featuring the Beast of Darkness is hidden threateningly inside the bag. The Guts backpack is 18.11" in height and costs $148.

Meanwhile, the Berserk Griffith messenger bag uses an asymmetric flap and striking colors to evoke Griffith's grace as the Hawk of Light. A golden metal plate contains the quote, “Iʼll not... ...Betray my dream. That is all.” The lining design inside the bag contains the Hill of Swords, representing a tragic sacrifice that occurred. The Griffith messenger bag is 11.81" and makes space for things like a 500 mL bottle and long wallet. The bag costs $148.

Finally, the Berserk boots for Guts and Griffith contain details that reflect each character. They also match with the backpack and messenger bag respectively. However, men with large feet may not be able to fit into these boots. They are available in U.S. men's sizes of 6.5, 7.5, 8.5, 9.5, and 10.5. Each pair of boots retails for $238.

Earlier in March 2022, SuperGroupies revealed the first part of its Berserk merchandise collection. It consists of two model watches styled after Guts and Griffith respectively. They are available to pre-order through April 3, 2022. Prime 1 Studio also just opened pre-orders for a Guts Berserker Armor Bloody Nightmare statue.

A new statue of Guts, the protagonist of Berserk, will appear in limited numbers. Prime 1 Studio has opened pre-orders for the Guts Berserker Armor Bloody Nightmare statue. This elaborate statue will have the blood-soaked protagonist resting atop defeated monsters with his signature armor.

The package will come with swappable alternative heads and arms. The head options will let the switch between a full-covering helmet and another version that shows Guts' mouth. The alternate arms will change the sword's position, from stabbing the ground to resting on Guts' shoulder. When the sword is in the latter position, the overall height of the 1/4 scale statue will reach 95 cm / 37 inches.

The Berserker Guts Berserk statue is available for $1,299, but Prime 1 Studio will only produce 750 units of the product. It offers payments in multiple installments via PayPal, up to eight times. Regardless of the chosen installment option, the buyer will first make a non-refundable deposit of $129.90.

Prime 1 Studio had previously released Berserk statues of Guts in his initial attire, but these statues are already sold out. In May 2020, it opened pre-orders for statues modeled after Casca in her Golden Age arc costume. As of this writing, Casca's statue pages still show a "Waitlist Full" mark instead of "Sold Out."

New kinds of Berserk merchandise still show up even after the manga's original creator Kentaro Miura died in May 2021. Earlier in March 2022, SuperGroupies opened pre-orders for Berserk watches designed after Guts and Griffith.

SuperGroupies revealed Berserk model watches for the characters Guts and Griffith. The Berserk model watches are available to pre-order until April 3, 2022 at 8pm PT/11pm ET. They each cost $228.00 before tax and they will begin shipping in early October 2022.

The Berserk Guts watch is dark silver with dark red accents, drawing inspiration from both the Berserker Armor and the Brand of Sacrifice. The iconic Dragon Slayer sword is featured at 6 o'clock as well. A quote from Berserk is even etched into the back of the watch, referencing the Dragon Slayer: "It was much too big to be called a sword. Massive, thick, heavy and far too rough. Indeed, it was like a heap of raw iron."

Meanwhile, the Griffith watch is designed to look more elegant. The white, gold, and hint of navy blue take inspiration from the "Hawk of Light" armor. Likewise, the saber Griffith wields is located at 6 o'clock. The back of this watch contains an etched quote from Griffith: “I told you once... I will... ...get my own kingdom.”

The manga Berserk has sold more than 50 million copies worldwide to date, and volume 41 released in Japan in December. It may potentially be the final volume, as creator Kentaro Miura ed away in May 2021 with the story unfinished. Publisher Hakusensha has not yet announced whether it intends to finish Miura's story using Miura's art studio, Studio Gaga.

The Berserk watches are available to pre-order through April 3, 2022 and will ship in early October 2022. Each one comes in its own exclusive box.
